About the PTO
Welcome to the Hunnewell School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), established in 1995 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We aim to foster closer cooperation between the school and parents, enrich children's educational experiences, improve communication, and provide essential support for student enrichment programs.
Here's a glimpse of what we do:
Fund Creative Arts and Sciences workshops, author visits, and educational Field Trips

Mission Statement
Throughout the year, PTO activities and initiatives are carefully crafted to advance our longstanding mission:
Enrich the educational experience of all our children;
Provide financial and volunteer support for the activities and needs of the school; and
Enhance communication between home, school, and community groups.
The PTO supports the WPS' mission in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in embracing, celebrating, and affirming human diversity within and beyond our community. We support the creation of a culture that celebrates advocacy and pursues justice for all, especially those from historically marginalized communities.
